West Virginia Hotdog Recipe

A true West Virginia hot dog is a heavenly creation that begins with a wiener on a soft steamed bun. Add mustard, Up The Creek Hotdog Sauce and top it off with coleslaw made with Up The Creek Pepper Dill Mustard and chopped onions and you have a genuine "Taste of West Virginia"

 

STRAWBERRY DIP

- 8oz. package of cream cheese (SOFT)

- 4 tbls. “Up The Creek Strawberry Mustard”

- (Optional) add crushed pineapple; WELL DRAINED

- Mix ingredients and serve.

 

CRANBERRY DIP 

- 8oz. package of cream cheese (SOFT)

- 4 tbls. “Up The Creek Cranberry Mustard”

- Mix ingredients and serve.

 

HOT DILL, PEPPER OR ONION DIP 

- 8oz. package of cream cheese (SOFT)

- 3 tbls. “Up The Creek Hot Dill, Pepper or Onion Mustard ”

- Mix ingredients and serve.

 

TUNA SALAD 

- 1 can tuna

- 3 to 4 tbls. “Up The Creek Hot Dill Mustard”

- 3 to 4 tbls. Mayonaise

- Blend, Chill and Serve.

Recipes

(Hey, You Bought It… Now, Get Creative! ! !)

 

The Dip 

- 8oz. block of cream cheese (SOFT)

- 3 tbls. Of UTC Mustard (your choice of flavor)

·         Mix, add more or less mustard to your liking.

[ENJOY ON CRACKERS, TORTILLA CHIPS, BAGELS, VEGETABLES or PRETZLES.  KIDS LOVE THIS DIP!!]

 

SALAD DRESSING

- 1/2 cup of sour cream

- 1/2 cup of mayonnaise

- 1/2 cup of UTC Mustard (your choice of flavor)

·         Mix all ingredients until well blended

SEAFOOD DIP 

- 1 cup ketchup

- 1/3 cup UTC Mustard (your choice of flavor)

- 1/3 cup mayonnaise

- 1 tbls. Sweet relish

·         Combine all ingredients and refrigerate one hour

[ENJOY DIPPING OR SPREADING ON YOUR FAVORITE SEAFOOD OR ADD ONE FINELY CHOPPED ONION TO THE INGREDIENTS AND ENJOY THIS “SPECIAL SAUCE ON YOUR HAMBURGER]

 

MEAT MARINADE 

IT’S SIMPLE:

·         Take any meat of your choice.  Place meat (cover in UTC Mustard) in a zip-lock bag.  Close, shake well, & refrigerate overnight.  Cook as desired.

 

 JERKY 

·         Soak thinly sliced meat in UTC Mustard and refrigerate overnight.  Strip off excess of mustard and place in a dehydrator for recommended time

 

CHICKEN WINGS

One bad of frozen wings

One jar of UTC Mustard

Place single layer of wings on baking sheet, paint with mustard and bake according to package instruction for best results.
